Short Story

I recently had a GCSE controlled assessment witch we had to write a two page story based on the poem 'Revenge' so here is a sneak peek of what i have written hope you enjoy it.

His beastly face was engraved into my memory after that horrendous night. He ruptured through the front door, you could see the corrupted soul in his cobalt eyes.
I could no longer describe him as a human being, more like a beast found in those horror books ma used to read me. He snatched them by the hair and dragged them across the crisp wooden floor, like they where dolls. I roared at him to let them go, but he didn't take any notice or pay attention to my existence.
His agile hands grasped a gleaming blade which ended it all. As he strode away the panic and desperation started flooding in. Days went by with their nauseating forever sleeping bodies next to mine. I couldn't move, my eyes were fixated on their decomposing bodies.
Tears. Running down my cheek, burning like foot steps on hot coal. The pain. Dwelling in my mind. Expanding every moment at every breath I took. All I could think about was.... is this MY wrongdoing?
The days seemed endless whilst I was there. The realisation started to sink in, that I was the only one who's blood was circulating.
